In my opinion, (ref Jack S.) we should not confuse the calendar language and the calendar settings that are partly already managed.
There is no established relationship between the language and the first day of the week for example.
Also, the language is a blocking element for non-English speaking users who cannot make an appointment without their language.
On the other hand, the first day of the week is not for the user and is already managed by the administrator.
In terms of complexity it is also simpler. Internalization is natively manageable in most frameworks. Its implementation is therefore not complex and has high added value. I vote for!

Adaptation to other languages
🤔
The biggest problem I see now is on the shared calendar to adapt to a language other than English:
◾Month name
◾Name of the days of the week
◾Date presentation (different countries give different order day month / month day etc.)
.
Translate, use ready-made templates.
Or if it was possible to at least manually change it for a given language.
